n = 1 adult, resting on leaflitter underground 6 inches of water in a puddle of a ditch. 13:58 hrs. this ditch system dries up several times a year but the K. baurii arrive each time it fills with water. it's unclear where they go when it dies up as I have never seen the dead remains of any turtle in the ditch.
