This juvenile colubrid snake was observed at night at the Yawa Jee Conservation Center during a two week period to survey the region of its herpetofauna to determine the feasibility of establishing a protected area for the indigenous fauna located in a forested area approximately 3 km north of Puerto Santana, (15 km northeast of Cuenca) Ecuador.
