This skink was observed during the day near a small waterfall along the Temburong River in eastern Brunei. Also seen in the same area were the frogs Limnonectes laticeps, L. leporinus, Leptobrachella mjobergi, Staurois guttatus and the skink Tropidophorus beccarii.
