Called to Residence with reported Cottonmouth in swimming pool. Upon arrival found an adult Cottonmouth in pool skimmer. captured snake and placed in transport container. physical exam revealed a 33 inch, 19.5 ounce snake. Eyecap on Right eye. No other signs of pre-shed. Snake followed movement with each eye. Good range of motion throughout entire length of body. No signs of injury or illness. Transported snake to protected area and released without incident.
