Person brought Copperhead Snake to me that had been entangled in netting. I cut snake free. Found small skin tear injury to dorsal aspect approximately 4 inches from head. Eyes both slightly bloodshot. Weight is 4.9oz, length is 26". Good range of motion down entire length of body. No signs of pre-shed. Transported to protected area, antibiotic ointment applied and released without incident.
