Notes:
In this area, there are very few lakes or large wetlands, which are considered more "typical" Mink frog habitat. The wetlands consist of small rivers, streams, and temporary puddles.
Beavers frequently dam up the streams, creating sufficient still water for the Mink frogs. When the beavers relocate, so do the frogs.
This specimen was found in a seasonal pond near a small river, along with many others.
