Also known as the Puerto Rican Slider, (Trachemys stejnegeri stejnegeri). This individual was found in Brewers Bay swimming in salt water. Judging by the algae growth it was in there for some time. This species is non-indigenous to St. Thomas, USVI according to government sources.
