Found on a steep, rocky, SW facing ridge.
Ground temp. under rock was 67 F, while the top of the rock measured 83 F.
Another redtail was seen nearby under AC about 30 minutes later.
Also saw: granite spiny, sideblotch, fence lizard, western skink, and a shed skin from a snake - probably a lyre snake (it was thin and in a crack in a huge rock).
