My 3 psudo-sons and adopted niece had gone to the falls, where Jamie had finally mustered up the courage to make the 40 ft jump... it did not go well... hurt back and severe bruising from the back flop she ended up doing, so I went to the base of the spillway for an emergency pick-up. I saw that there was roughly 300 to 500 YOY frogs amongst the water plants/assorted debris at the semi-permanent pool at the base of the spillway. The quantity value is for the pic with the paint cap, with 11 frogs in the pic... but from the other pics you can see how robust a population this little 5X3 ft area contained. Getting ready to leave, I spot a young desert King heading down to the pool for a drink, or meal. Needing to get Jamie home, I could not stay to see what the King would do... so snapped a voucher shot and released it under a nearby rock.
